Drop .assetz (or .assetterrain) archives,
terrain .json metadata files together with their matching
.asset and .cogsbin files (dropping the whole output folder works too),
or a .pmtiles archive - or enter their URL below.
PMTiles are drawn on a flat plane while no terrain is loaded; once a terrain
dataset is loaded, assign a raster to a terrain slot (see the PMTiles layers
list below) to drape it onto the terrain instead - the flat plane is only
used as a fallback when there is no terrain to drape onto. Draped imagery is
composited on top of the terrain's elevation colouring, so a raster does not
need to cover the whole terrain: areas outside its geographic extent keep
showing the elevation colours.
Wheel zooms to the cursor, middle-drag pans, left-drag orbits about the click, right-drag dollies.
Once a terrain dataset or a PMTiles layer is loaded, use the GPS markers section below
to drop a coloured sphere at a WGS84 lat/lon: it is projected into the dataset's
coordinate system via proj4, or - when no dataset is loaded - onto the reference
PMTiles layer's own lon/lat extent.
